An artist and k-12 art teacher who has taught in Hawaii and Boulder, Faith studied art at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Montserrat School of Visual Arts, the University of Colorado and Naropa University. She has also had a career as a chef and has published two cookbooks. She is the Director of the Eldorado Yoga Day Camp, where she infuses the entire camp with her creative energy and where her art room is filled with eager campers engrossed in imaginative and resourceful arts and crafts projects.
A member of the ShambhavAnanda community since 1988, Swami Devananda is a resident teacher at Shoshoni Yoga Retreat and author of “Yoga in the Shambhava Tradition”. She loves sharing the joy she finds in yoga and art with kids and enjoys gardening and thangka (traditional Tibetan art form) painting in her spare time.
Dayalan lives at Eldorado Mountain Yoga Ashram with his wife Yogini, and is a certified hatha yoga and meditation teacher. He is active in the hatha yoga teacher trainings, summer kids’ camp, Sunday family program, and leads public drum circles at Eldorado. Dayalan enjoys working outside and taking care of the alpaca herd at Eldorado.
Yogini received her Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1999 and has taught yoga since 2007. She has a strong background in and passion for teaching anatomy for all trainings, and leading the Yoga For Healing advanced training program. As an RYT-500 yoga teacher, she has lead Level 1-3 yoga teacher trainings since 2012. She has lived in the ashram since 2006 and is also active in summer kids’ camp, gardening, baking, and teaching meditation.
Janabai brings over 30 years experience working with young children as a teacher and administrator. She has been a preschool teacher with a parent cooperative preschool in Denver, worked with Headstart, and also taught in the Boulder Valley School District. She is one of Sri Shambhavananda’s senior students, teaches meditation classes, and serves as a consultant with the Summer Kids’ Camp.
